Coulée Verte’s opponents won a battle with a bang on Monday by forcing a ballot in Saint-Lambert. Many citizens came out to express their strong feelings about Coulée Verte, the now walking pathway that the city wants to change up for a bike only pathway. The overall costs of the project should be of one million. More than 500 citizens signed the log book in order to fight the city’s project. The city can now go two ways, forget entirely the project of ask for a ballot. The city has said that they would render their decisions in the next few days.
