A new sports center in St-Hubert

After months of waiting, Longueuil city has finally given its support to the building of a new sports center in St-Hubert. This new center represents a private investment of a few million dollars. CORENA who is also responsible for Gaétan-Boucher arena, can now go forward with the project by going to the next step, which is governmental venues.

The new center would offer a gigantic interior field of 60 meters by 105, covered by a heating dome, a sports building, a sports boutique, two outside soccer fields as well as a football field. This new center would permit sports enthusiasts to enjoy their hobby not to far from home. Right now, the other center is behind the Jean Béliveau arena and is located in Vieux-Longueuil. A sports center in St-Hubert would treat Longueuil city to a second sports center, making it easier for people to enjoy their sport.
